With the update of iOS 12, people can use Memoji on their iPhone X now, which is unlike emoji, as we can send customized Animoji that looks exactly like us. Many people feedback it’s new to them, now we’ll show you how to use Memoji in iOS 12 on iPhone X.

How to create Memoji on iPhone X

Firstly, we’ll learn how to create Memoji on iPhone X, follow below steps.

Step 1. Open your iPhone X, then launch Message app.

Step 2. Choose the conversation or start a new one that you need to send Memoji. Click Animoji message app(looks like a monkey) from your message bar.



Step 3. Then slide it to right all the way until you see image icon “+”, click it and you can create your own Memoji.

Tips: Memoji will start with a new blank face, and you need to customize it with skin color, hairstyle ect to make it looks more like you.

How to customize Memoji on iPhone X

As said we can make Memoji looks more like ourselves, now follow below steps and customize your Memoji.

Step 1. Click “+” to get a new blank face, then click “Skin” and “Hairstyle” to customize your skin and hairstyle.



Step 2. Then you can move it to other features and customize it, like eyes, nose, facial hair, eyewear ect. When finish customize it, click “Done” in the upper right corner. And you can save more Memoji as you want.

How to edit Memoji on iPhone X

After saving some Memoji you need, you may also need to edit it or delete some you don’t need any more, now follow below steps.

Step 1. Open Message app on your iPhone X, choose the conversation or start a new one, click Animoji message app(looks like a monkey) under your message bar.

Step 2. Then find the Memoji frame you need to edit, click three dots image icon which is at the left bottom corner.

Step 3. And you can see three options, that is “Edit”, “Duplicate” and “Delete”, now you can click related option to delete, edit or duplicate it.
