Reset Forgotten Password for iOS Device

Reset Apple ID password
1.now open the browser on your PC, and navigated to https://iforgot.apple.com.
2.then you can input your Apple ID and enter the characters from the security image, and continue with the instruction.
3.now enter your phone number which is connected with your Apple ID, and continue with it.
4.then it will shows two options about how you will reset your password. That is “Reset from another device” and “Use trusted phone number”.
When you choose “Reset from another device”, you’ll need to access another device that is logged with your Apple ID, such as other iPhone, iPad or Mac. And this method is recommed one.
5.continue with it and start account recovery, then select “Allow” or “Continue”, which is based on the method you have choose to reset your password.
6.then confirm with your account information, like birth date, credit card information, email address, security questions ect.
7.after confirming account information, we can reset the password when it pop up a notification and ask us to set new password.
8.then enter the new password, and continue the process until it finishs set up password.
Set iOS into Recovery Mode
We can also reset our forgotten password by set our iPhone into recovery mode, see below steps.
1.press our power button and hold on, then slide the option “Slide to Power Off”.
2.then connect our iPhone with PC by using USB cable, and launching our iTunes.
3.then press and hold on home button and power button together, until you see “iTunes has Detected an iDevice in Recovery Mode”, then click “OK”.
4.find “Restore” button at right corner, then it will erase some iPhone data and set out iPhone with factory reset, and we’ll need to enter a new password for our iPhone.
