How to speed up old iPhone

Close Background App Refresh

1.Open your iPhone, go to Setting--General--Background App Refresh.

2.Now click the button to turn it off, when it’s off, the button will be with gray color.



Restart iPhone

When your iPhone runs slowly suddenly, there are maybe something wrong with your hardware or software, so you can restart it to fix this kind of issue.

1.Press the power button on the right side of your iPhone and hold on until it shows up “Slide to power off”. then slide it to close your iPhone.

Free Up iPhone Storage Space

Update Apps

When there is new version for your apps, you’d better to update them and it may be compatible better with your iPhone.

1.Open your iPhone, go to Setting--App Store--Updates, and you can find it at the bottom line of your page.

2.When you see some apps need to be updated, click “Download” or “Update” to update them with latest version.

Turn off iPhone Location Service and Bluetooth

When you don’t need to use location service and Bluetooth, you can turn off them, as they may drain our battery quickly and affect the using of other apps.

1.Open your iPhone, go to Setting--Privacy--Location Service.

2.Now turn the button off, and you can also choose to close it for certain apps.



3.and you can swipe up the bottom of your screem to enter Control Center to find and close Bluetooth service.

Close Automatic Updates

Updating apps in the background will also take the CPU of our iPhone and make our iPhone run slowly.

1.Open your iPhone, go to Setting--iTunes & App Store, then you can see option “Update”.

2.Now turn it off.
